Message header limit (2000) exceeded

Murtrum

New Pleskian
Hi,

I change hosting provider, and now I have a problem to send newsletter to +5000 destination address.

in /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog I found:

Nov 28 18:43:38 host /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/psa-pc-remote[1849]: Message header limit (2000) exceeded. Probably malformed message or spam. Dropping it.
Nov 28 18:43:38 host /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/psa-pc-remote[1849]: Message aborted.

May be need a fix?

How increment message header limit for psa-pc-remote?

Thanks

The limit means "maximum amount of identical headers per email".
Identical headers means header names (not including values), like a lot of "Content-type:" in email you provided.
We believe 2000 is quite reasonable limitation for real, not malformed emails.

In my old hosting provider I have a server without Plesk, and never have this problem before.

the +5000 destination address are in the BCC field of Mozilla Thunderbird.
I think in the e-mail not have a lot of "Content-type:"

How increase message header limit for psa-pc-remote?

if posible?

Thanks.

Sorry, Murtrum, but it's not possible to increase the limit. Just split up your message into several (i.e. send at once to no more than 2000 subscribers).
