Question Migrating Emails:from Roundcube (Separate Hosting) to SogoMail (Plesk)

Hi,

I need to migrate emails from Roundcube (separate hosting) to SogoMail on my Plesk server.

• Roundcube Export: Best way to export all emails from Roundcube? (Format?)
• SogoMail Import: How to import to SogoMail? Supported formats?
• Folder Structure: Keep folder structure intact during the transfer?
• Pitfalls: Any common issues I should watch out for?
• Tools: Recommended migration tools?

I do recommend Official imapsync migration tool ( release 2.290 )
And then use it like this (your desired options may vary):

./imapsync --host1 old.server.name --user1 [email protected] --password1 'P4sSw0rd' --host2 new.server.name --user2 [email protected] --password2 'P4sSw0rd' --automap --disarmreadreceipts --nolog --noreleasecheck --skipemptyfolders --noemailreport1 --noemailreport2 --exclude Junk-E-Mail --delete2folders --delete2

Also keep in mind that this will not migrate stuff like contacts that users created in Roundcube, but more or less "only" emails and folders.
