Migrating from Plesk 7.5.x to 8.1

we need to migrate a site from one server to a new server. the old server is running 7.5.x and the new server is running 8.1

do we need to upgrade the old server to 8.1 first prior to moving the site?

Hello,

There is no need to update your old Plesk server to 8.1 version before migrating.

You can migrate your accounts from Plesk for Windows 7.5.x to Plesk for Windows 8.1. Alternatively you can use Plesk Backup utility to backup your selected accounts and then restore it with Plesk Restore to Plesk for Windows 8.1.
