• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Migrating To New IP Subnet

matt.simpson

Basic Pleskian
My network provider is requiring me to migrate from one set of IP addresses to another set of IP addresses on a different subnet. I have 13 IP's running on the server and I'm wondering if there is any simple way of globally replacing the one set of IP's with the new set of IP's.

I'm really not looking forward to having to do this by hand (replacing A records of every domain, re-setting up IP-Pools, etc.)

Let me know if anyone has done this before. I'm hoping there's a simple way that I've just missed in my current searches.

Best Regards,
Matt Simpson

Take a look at the reconfigurator, it should do what you need. It creates an IP map when you run:

#perl /usr/local/psa/bin/reconfigurator.pl file_name

Then you can edit the template and run the command again to make the changes.
