Let me try to explain what we are doing. At this moment we are running 2 windows server with plesk 7.5.6. Because we are going to run virtuozzo and plesk 9.2.1. we divide all the domains on 5 virtualized plesk 100 servers. Therefor we need to migrate everything.
I's very easy to migrate everything with creation of a backup and restore method to 9.2.1. the only problem is that the right sructure in 7.5.6. won't be restored at the 9.2.1. So everything will be migrated, databases, mail etc etc. But the fact that curtain folders (for example for databases, with read and write rights) won't restore the right structure. Does anybody know how to solve this instead of doing that manually at the end..
If the magration manager is the solution to the right structure can someone confirm that 100%? Our current windows server are pretty instable, upgrading to 9.2.1 is an option for the migration manager but we rather not do that..
