Migration from 8.6 to 10.2

I have been trying to upload a psa (plesk server backup) file into GUI backup manager Server Repository on an new server, but after a few mintues it returns a page can not be displayed notice, so is not converted to the new backup XML.
I did a test with a smaller psa file (16MB) and it seemed to work fine.
Is there a setting that needs to be changed to allow the larger file to upload?


PSA file (about 12GB) created in Plesk panel 8.6 windows 2003 server.

I think that it is related to IIS timeout restrictions and this causes problems in the interface. Therefore I would recommend to use CLI Plesk utilities for this migration.

I ran:
pre9-backup-convert.exe --source=C:\ds2august242011.psa --destination=C:\Program files\Parallels\Plesk\Backup --force

and after a few mintues I get the following error:

Fatal Error: Exception of Type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.


Have done this also http://kb.parallels.com/en/8185 and tried again but it did not make any difference.

Did you try to split your huge backup file?
