Resolved Migration Issue - Email/Gmail

Eoin Redmond

New Pleskian
Hi,

We migrated a subscription from Plesk 12.5 to Plesk Onyx and we've ran into an email problem.

Our client uses Gmail as the their email client - setup to send on port 587 via TLS.

While they can still receive email they cannot send email - Gmail returns the following error...

The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect. Learn more at https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7720 [eurosheds.ie 46.22.139.71: generic::failed_precondition: connect error (0): error]

The client can send email via Horde.

Anybody point us in the right direction?

Regards,

Eoin

Hi Eoin Redmond,

most of such issues:
generic::failed_precondition: connect error (0): error
may depend on missing ( or insufficient ) SPF - DNS - records. Pls. make sure, that the SPF - entry contains "include:_spf.google.com" and make sure, that you use "~all" or better "?all" at the end of your SPF - entry.
