  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Migration Manager from copy of old hard drive

I have an interesting situation that I'd like some advice on - if anyone has done this.

After a hard drive failure on my system, RH 3ES running Plesk 7.0.X, I'm left with a (hopefully) complete backup of all relevant directories (/VAR, /USR, PSA etc.) made a couple of months ago.
The server is being reloaded with Plesk 7.5 on a new drive.
I'm wondering if I can use the Migration Manager to import the old Plesk configuration from the backed up files.
Or if anyone has any alternative suggestions I'd appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.
