  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

migration manager ip map

adamjimenez

Basic Pleskian
i'm trying to do a migration

it's asking for an ip map file.

so i just create a file called ip.txt containing:
213.xxx.xxx.xxx 213.xxx.xxx.xxx

and it doesn't work!

it used to be so easy!

please help

You actually get it to create the map for you rather than creating one yourself. Then you edit that file. That was certainly the case for older versions of plesk when using the backup manager anyway - not sure about mm on 9.x. Sorry if this is out of date info.

i have the same problem in another thread.

could you please tell us how to fix the problem step by step? thank you

figured out my problem. i had to change the ip from exclusive to shared.

at first it wouldn't let me because the ip was in use. so i changed it manually in the database table ip_pool.

i can now select the ip from a select menu - wahoo!
