TwitterI gave up waiting and converted my setup to a virtual server. This way, I at least didn't have to migrate and find things lost in the process which always seems to happen using their tools it seems.
I admit it was a very stressful process which took me WEEKS of searching/reading and trying things that never worked until I finally managed to figure out a solution.
At the very least, I now feel much more confident in that I can back up the entire os and not have to play with the constantly broken backup tools, let alone get sucked into their expensive optional Acronis option.
I think I'll buy one more year of support while actively looking for a better open source solution, which there are a number of now. During that year, if they shape up, great, if not, I'll have found something to move on to.
