MIME Types

During the setup of a new website when Plesk creates the domain.com_non_ssl and domain.com_ssl it adds MIME Types to each of these virtual directories. This creates major problems for any Fully Compliant Standard HTML 4.01 browsers such as Mozilla, Netscape, AOL, etc..

The problem is that one of the MIME types listed refers to .* as application octect string and sends CSS files, JS Files, etc.. this way. By adding this one imparticular it causes all the MIME types from the server level of IIS to replicate through.

Also, the other three MIME types installed are already supported under IIS. 2 are already listed under MIME types and the last, .shtml, is listed under scripting because it does not belong under MIME types.

This is something that needs resolved before it becomes a major issue for customers using non-ie browsers.
