MS SQL Server compatibility with 9.5.4

Hello,

I am hoping someone can answer my question, since my hosting company isn't replying to my ticket and phone agents don't know.

I am currently running MS SQL Server 2008 with Plesk 9.5.4 on Windows Server 2008, and need to find out if SQL Server 2008 R2 is compatible. The developers building an app for this site have said that R2 isn't supported on this version of Plesk and will "break it," but I can't find anything to that degree and searching the Parallels site it appears that SQL Server 2008 R2 was supported as of Plesk 9.3.

Can someone please confirm if this is actually supported with my version of Plesk and OS? Thank you!

Just to let you know I am running Plesk 9.0.1 with SQL 2008 R2 on Windows Server 2008 and I don't have any issues so far. I also don't manage much but for basic stuff I have not run into any issues yet. I am also planning to upgrade to SQL Server 2012 Enterprise to see if it works with Plesk 9.
