Is anyone having trouble connecting to a non default instance in mssql 2005.

ive tried everything.

tcp/ip is on.
default instance connects fine

I'm running instance on its own IP and using 1433 non dynamic port.

No other instance runs on the same IP or is using a dynamic port.

Ive used direct to IP connection and IP\instance

Any clues?

I specified I had done that allready. It still doesnt work.
