• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

My hostname is wrong and I cannot access plesk billing

Just seen this in the 9.0 thread but I have 9.3 installed so thought I would post agaion in this thread:

When I first updated, I tried to access plesk billing and it took me to some strange hostname that isn't correct for my server. I fixed this issue with the Change Hostname button and it correctly shows the fixed host every time I visit that page.

However, when I try to access plesk billing, it still takes me to the old hostname! Additionally, at the top of every page for clients and resellers, I get this error message: "Error: Unable to fetch customers' balances: Unable to connect to Plesk-Billing."

It seems as if the old hostname is stored somewhere and not using the one that plesk uses.

Can anyone help? I don't want my clients to see a big error message when they log in.

I am having this same problem. I can't find anyway to update the billing link to resolve to my new domain. At the moment clicking on billing resolves to http://myolddomain.com/pleskbilling/admin/index.php and I would like to update this to http://my newdomain.com/pleskbilling/admin/index.php.

I have looked through mysql and there is no reference to the old domain there. I have also looked in:

/var/lib/sso/sso.db

but again cannot find any obvious reference but it is possibly encrypted? There is this though?

INSERT INTO "idp_info" VALUES('5298cf9f972936fa1e43dd9c866d5c92');

Any ideas?

Thx IgorG.

Thought I posted this somewhere already on this board but it is possible it has not been approved or lost somewhere.

What I managed to do was deselect the option in Plesk Billing to under System > Server Settings > Sever Groups > Edit to 'Try to register Parallels Plesk Panel in SSO'.

Funny thing is that this always seem to be selected even though I have deselected it and it seems to be deselected in the database!

I also ran an update using the Control Panel Update, and deleted my test Plesk Billing installation, but think that the first one here did the trick in my case.
