MySQL permissions

Hello,

I need to grant a mysql user created in plesk some permissions. Currently the user is unable to perform imports.
After not finding anyway to do this through the Plesk interface I went command line and ran the following mySQL command:

GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON databasename.* TO username@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';

Then FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

However, the user still receives errors when trying to import.

Can someone confirm that this command is the best way to give additional permissions when using Plesk.

Many thanks
