• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Everthing is working but I am getting the following event log errors every hour (source is "Named" for all):
could not listen on UDP socket: permission denied
creating IPv4 interface Loopback Interface 1 failed; interface ignored
listening on IPv4 interface TCP/IP Interface 2, 192.168.2.53#53
could not listen on UDP socket: permission denied
creating IPv4 interface TCP/IP Interface 2 failed; interface ignored
not listening on any interfaces
(These 6 events repeat once every hour)

In Plesk admin panel under components it does list 2 DNS servers (MS and Bind) but only the MS server is running.
Checking the MS DNS server and all sites are listed as needed.

Running 'netstat -an | find “:53″' with DNS server running under Plesk services monitor and DNS server running under MS services:
C:\>netstat -an | find ":53"

Running 'netstat -an | find “:53″' with DNS server stopped under Plesk services monitor and DNS server stopped under MS services (stopping DNS server in Plesk services monitor auto stops the DNS server in MS services):
C:\>netstat -an | find ":53"

C:\>

So as far as I can tell Plesk is the only program binding to port 53.
I do have another DNS server running within the network but not sure if they are conflicting with each oher.
I do use other hosting service name servers for all sites.

Sample site: http://www.8ln.com

Thanks in advance,
Bryan
