named.root DNS bind problems

I ran up2date and it seems it broke my named and bind. I get these errors in /var/log/messages:

Aug 11 04:32:48 tulsa named[15763]: could not configure root hints from 'named.root': file not found
Aug 11 04:32:48 tulsa named[15763]: loading configuration: file not found
Aug 11 04:32:48 tulsa named[15763]: exiting (due to fatal error)
Aug 11 00:32:48 tulsa named: named startup failed

any recommendations? I searched for some posts on named.root and couldn't find any solutions. Any help would be greatly apprecaited!

rpm -e bind-chroot ; ln -sf /var/named/run-root/etc/named.conf /etc/named.conf ; /sbin/service named restart

i'm going to name my first born racker!!!!

FYI for the forum... i've emailed plesk support twice. The first time they responded with nothing that helped and never replied. The second time i emailed them they never replied. The support isn't worth sh*t.
