• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I created a new domain in and uploaded the files to the httpsdoc directory, but when I try to view the site a windows login box pops up and if I cancel it I get a "Error: Access Denied" message on the screen.

Seems to be a permissions problem. Any ideas how to fix it/

Thanks, David

permissions on your virtual sites folder and/or httpdocs folder are incorrect, change them in Plesk control panel under the domain or if that fails manually set them in IIS to allow the Plesk user accounts (there are 2 of them) access.

Hope that helps,

I had the same problem a whila ago and it came back often.

It is very easy to solve:

- log on to the server.
- go to start --> run
- fill in "websrvmng --reconfigure -all"
- press OK or Enter

-restart IIS

I think this will solve your problem.

Brgds,
Tom
