  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hi Sven,

please have a look and bookmark:

You will find there all kinds of log - file locations and configuration - file - locations, which are needed for investigations to issues/problems/questions. Please include not only depending errors from your log in your next post, consider as well to provide informations about your operating system, about the mail-server in use and what you did to resolve the issue, so that people willing to help do not have to guess, what might be unusual or misconfigured.

For mail - issues, Odin invented the mchk - utility, with the most common usage:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam

... for more commands of this utility, please use the "--help" string after the command:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --help

Another option to solve issues on your server is the bootstrapper utility. It checks and repairs a lot of possible settings and configurations on your server. You will as well get a very decent repair - log - file, which you can include in your posts, in case of issues.

/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp12.0.18-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair
