• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
    With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Resolved Nextcloud extension missing PHP environment variables

Wolfgang Reidlinger

Basic Pleskian
Hi there!

Does anyone know this warning message and can help me to fix it.

PHP does not seem to be setup properly to query system environment variables. The test with getenv("PATH") only returns an empty response. Please check the installation documentation ↗ for PHP configuration notes and the PHP configuration of your server, especially when using php-fpm.

Nextcloud version is up-to-date.

OS: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS
Product: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.38 Update #2

Try to do the following:

Go to Plesk > Domains > example.com > PHP Settings > Additional configuration directives and add for example the following directive:

Code:
[php-fpm-pool-settings]
env[HOSTNAME] = $HOSTNAME
env[PATH] = /usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin
