If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • Our UX team believes in the in the power of direct feedback and would like to invite you to participate in interviews, tests, and surveys.

Question NGINX only Hosting with Joomla possible?

daanse

Regular Pleskian
Hi,
does anyone has an example File how to use NGINX only for Joomla?
My goal is to easily insert some NGINX Rules into "Additional NGINX directives" to turn a Joomla to NGINX only Hosting without Proxy.
Is that possible?
Or does that Domain needs a completely custom NGINX Config which i have to insert manually into Server?

CloudLinux 7.8 (Alexei Leonov)
Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.27 Update #1
CageFS etc. installed.

Normally this should work, but you need to convert the Apache .htaccess rewrite rules to Nginx rules. Maybe this can help:
I have also found many articles on Joomla and Nginx on Google.

thanks, this was good start, but seems this rewrite is somehow weird. Never saw this grid/ syntax before.
Google is full yes, but mostly not work in this field because double entries from global nginx.conf or whatever. Therefore I asked.
