  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Nginx settings for Typo3 RealURL ?

Martin Weil

New Pleskian
Hello,

I am trying to set up nginx in combination with Typo3 6.x and RealURL. After many failed attempts I got it to work with these settings (if I leave that blank the pages throw a 404 error):

(in Plesk under <Domains> - <mydomain.com> - <Apache&nginx settings> - <additional nginx-instructions>)

if (!-f $request_filename){
set $rule_1 1$rule_1;
}
if (!-d $request_filename){
set $rule_1 2$rule_1;
}
if ($rule_1 = "21"){
rewrite /. /index.php last;
}

This seems to be working but I can't shake the feeling that this is not as correct as it should be. The website is pretty slow.

Can someone please give me some advice about what to optimize here?

Thank you

Hi Martin Weil,

pls. note, that NGINX rewrites ( just as http/https - directives ) are content related and have absolutely nothing to do with Plesk, it's components and extensions.
