Question NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY

Jasper_SDC

New Pleskian
Hi guys,

I have a problem with older Firefox browser (version 48.0.2).

When I have Reverse Proxy Server (nginx) service enabled (domain secured with Let's Encrypt) customers get the error "NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY". When they go to the non https site the website works.

When I disable Reverse Proxy Server (nginx) service and the customer goes to the secure https site the error is gone and the website is visible.

When I go to the site with a newer version of Firefox (for example version 52.0.1 ) the website is visible even when Reverse Proxy Server (nginx) service is active.

Is there a fix so that older browsers will work with Reverse Proxy Server (nginx) service is on?

The complete FireFox 48.0.2 error:
"Your connection is not secure

The website tried to negotiate an inadequate level of security.

marelko.nl uses security technology that is outdated and vulnerable to attack. An attacker could easily reveal information which you thought to be safe. The website administrator will need to fix the server first before you can visit the site.

Error code: NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY"

My server information:
CentOS Linux 7.3.1611 (Core)‬
Product Plesk Onyx
Version 17.0.17 Update #20, last updated on Mar 21, 2017 03:43 AM
