Online Suse Yast Update and Plesk

For info:
I hava an Linux Enterprise Server 10 and Plesk 8.2.0

Can i update the Linux Server over Yast online update or is this a bad idea because of plesk?

The server is allready in used and i would not like to have any problems, when i try to make updates over yast.

for most packages you should be fine. Just look over anything it wants to upgrade and make sure you need it on your system and that it isnt something that is immediately identified with psa.
