• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Onyx randomly resets Dovecot's certificate settings

Jörg Giencke

New Pleskian
OS: ‪Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS
Produkt: Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 Update Nr. 13

We've secured Dovecot and Postfix using Onyx' new feature to use a subdomain's cetificate. Which works fine but - randomly - Onyx resets Dovecot's certificate by restoring Plesk's default certificate. Postfix ist stable.

This is not reproducable. It just happens every second, third, forth day - no pattern. A few minutes ago it happened all of a sudden 'in broad daylight'. So there are no nightly activities envolved (rotation, updates, backups).

Re-assigning the certificate again cures the symptom - untill it happens again.

Regards,
Jörg Giencke
