• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Overusage page instead of blocking a domain

David Aguilar

Basic Pleskian
I have a problem, I'm managing a shared webhost and there are so many domains in that server. My problem is that some times a domain is closed by overuse. It's ok but many of our customers don't read the advice e-mails or warnings from plesk, so they think that their webhost is closed.

I know that other panels like Cpanel when you pass the limits of usage show a web in the index telling "this web is closed due to overusage" or similar, this would be a very nice feature for a shared webhost.

Hello,

When visitors coming to your site request pages the web server generates and displays a standard HTML page with an error message. If you wish to create your own error pages and use them on your server or allow your customers to do that, select the Custom error documents check box.
Give it a try.

You can alternatively create a ticket in Plesk Support queue and submit a feature request to be implemented in next Plesk release.
