Permissions Issues stopping server migration

I have just upgraded Plesk from 8.3 to 8.4 and am experiencing numerous faults in the upgraded software.

I was in the process of migrating numerous domains from another server when I hit an issue with Plesk and SiteBuilder and had to upgrade them.

Little did I know that my situation was going from bad to deadly in one move.

I cannot delete files created by Plesk during domain & subdomain setup using File manage (see http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?t=52975.

I cannot run any of my Typo3 or Elgg websites which run perfectly successfully on the old server.

Overnight domain backups fail.

Once you create a vhosts.conf file you can never remove it or Apache fails and can only be started from the command line!

SiteBuilder updates fail when publishing as FTP fails. My clients are not impressed!

Surely the purpose of Plesk is to minimise or eliminate the use of the command line. It certainly does not do this.

I need urgent fixes for Plesk and Sitebuilder as my server migration has come to a halt. I cannot retreat to the old server and cannot advance to the new server.

Any solutions greatfully received. PLEASE!

p.s. Plesk either does not issue any error messages or produces very indecipherable messages when an error occurs. As per my previous post above.
