php not working

i get the following error whenever i access any php page

The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

register_globals is on
in Plesk Components Management is shows PHP 4.3.11 (cgi-fcgi) as running

i dont know if it makes a difference but plesk is installed on c drive while the website is on another drive
