• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

is there a trick to restore defaults somehow?
It happend after a
./configure
make
make install
of PHP 5.3.29

and now most is working still but things like File Transfer over Plesk says even for 4kb files to big, i guess because of missing config files found :/

what does update-alternatives --display php say?
update-alternatives --display php
Code:
php - manual mode
  link best version is /usr/bin/php8.1
  link currently points to /usr/bin/php7.4
  link php is /usr/bin/php
  slave php.1.gz is /usr/share/man/man1/php.1.gz
/usr/bin/php7.0 - priority 70

php -v

php --ini

panel.ini is not existing too (maybe needed too?)

Remove /usr/local/bin/php.
/usr/local/bin is in the PATH before /usr/bin, so the php you built & installed is found before the alternatives system.

Or just call php with the version, e.g. php7.4 instead of only php.
