• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Php Upload?

Before moving to my own dedicated server with PLESK installed, I used managed hosting solutions.

With these other companies I never had problems with my upload scripts. For example, I would be able to upload directly to anywhere on my site using my upload form.

Now that I've moved to my new server I cannot upload files.

I noticed that its attempting to upoload in apache:apache (user:group).

The server will not allow it.

I did a "chown apache" on the httpdocs directory and I was able to upload but then the users were not allowed to upload there files.

I have also tried adding apache to the users groups so it may access the users directory and write to it, but alas, NO DICE.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Thanks
