  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question PHP websockets, how to?

Tigzy

Basic Pleskian
Hello,
I'm trying to deploy a PHP websocket application (w/ Ratchet).

It's pretty straightforward on a local env, I just run "php myserver.php" and then I browse to "whateverpage.php" and it works on port 8080 (configurable)

I wonder what's the preferred way to achieve this on Plesk, knowing that I'm using nginx:
- How do I run myserver.php?
- How do I configure nginx to let pass JS WebSocket queries (ws://myhost:8080) on a specific subdomain only?
