killing/deleting pid doesnt help.

Thanks for any help or idea!

Greetings

According to log named is successfully started and listening port 53 on network interfaces. And 'warning' doesn't mean 'error'.

No, it's down. The log stops at "generating session key for dynamic DNS", but it doesn't answer and there is no process running. And when i try to stop it says of course: Shutting down name server BIND - Warning: named not running!

no, this thread from 2008 is about a completely different problem.

Hello,

we have exactly the same Problem with named (fresh installation Plesk 10.4.4 patch 20, OpenSuse 11.4).
Is there already any solution for this?

Best regards,

F.C. Schaefer
