Plesk 8.2.1 slow on Debian 4.0

hi,

I´ve installed Plesk 8.2.1 on a fresh Debian 4.0 box (virtual server, 786 MB RAM).

When I try to open the control panel by webbrowser it takes a while (5-15 seconds) until the login screen appears. After i created a testsite and opened the site in a webbrowser for testing it also takes some seconds until the site loads.

Has anyone else the same problems on Debian 4.0? Any suggestions on how to solve the problem?

Edit: Gave the server 1,5 GB RAM - same problem. Plesk and Apache2 is terrible slow.
