Plesk 8.3 html editor (Spaw) bug

Petrou Net

Basic Pleskian
Hello, I might have found a Plesk 8.3 bug. The Plesk html editor (Spaw) doesn’t load any html file for editing at all, (Spaw textbox remains blank) and Internet Explorer 6.0 displays the following error message:
Line: 1083
Char: 1
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: https://petrounet.com:8443/spaw/spaw.php?file_name=/httpdocs/index.htm&previous_page=filemanager

When I use Mozilla Firefox, Spaw loads the file for editing but Spaw is displayed as a plain textbox.

Specifications of my server:
Operating System: CentOS 5 32-bit
Linux Kernel: 2.6.18-53.el5PAE
PHP Version: 5.2.5
MySQL Version: 5.0.51
Plesk Version: psa v8.3.0_build83071218.19 os_CentOS 5

How can I fix this? Any ideas?

I brought this issue up a couple weeks ago, http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?t=50074 I also opened a ticket with support and it's a bug and will be fixed in early February. I have just started using Plesk and had less than a dozen domains, so I just setup new 8.2.1 plesk servers and will wait quite some time to upgrade next time

Gentlemen,
As a workaround you can just remove first line ( <? ?>) from /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/spaw/class/script.js.php file.
The fix will be released with nearest Plesk update.
