• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk and Tomcat SSL

New Pleskian
Hi!
I am new to this forum but I have a huge problem that needs to be fixed today:
We have the Plesk Panel12.x for Linux running on a root server.
Additionally, we are providing a Webservice on the /var/lib/tomcat6 tomcat on axis2.
Everything worked fine so far using http and port 8080, but if we want to configure tomcat to be reachable on https via any port (preferably 8443, but any other port would work too).
If we set the tomcat port to 8443, the sw-cp-server answers http GET requests for the axis2 admin app, on port 8080 a server called Apache-Coyote/1.1 answers.

Any recommendations/input is very welcome!
