plesk cant connect to mysql server

hi
i try to use Plesk in the internet browser but he didnt work
i restart it in SSh mode by /etc/rc.d/init.d/psa stopall .
all services are stopped accept mysql server
i have this message

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

heve you any idea !
