• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Question Plesk - CentOS - Emails being duplicated

Aapklub

New Pleskian
Server details: Version - Plesk Obsidian v18.0.31_build1800201209.09 os_CentOS 6 OS - CentOS 6.10 (Final)

I have a server set up on a 123reg VPS and at the moment for every email that's sent to it, two copies are received.

I've recently added a new site but the only setting I have changed is :

Tools & Settings / Mail server settings / [Enable mail autodiscover]

I've since switched that off but emails are still being doubled. It's not just the 'new' domain that's affected, it seems like all of them are.

Anyone got any idea how I can sort this out ?

hello @Aapklub ,

the first thing that appears in mind, is to execute psa repair mail command.

the second is to check mail settings for exact domain and mailbox. Probably there are some forwarding settings here ?
Or even you create new mailbox at the existing domain and send mail to it the problem will be reproduced ?

CentOS 6.10 is no longer supported, I would suggest you move to at least Centos7 or Almalinux
