Plesk Database: Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

[Solved] Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Hi! fresh install of plesk 11 on ubuntu 12.04LTS.

No problems so far accept when creating and trying to delete a subscription I had a host of errors all referring to denied access:

Error: Unable to delete DSMail service for domain: Unable to remove domain mail: mailmng failed: Unable to connect to Plesk Database: Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Ive double checked the mysql password in the database for the admin account, and of course its working (otherwise I wouldn't be able to login to the panel.

Somewhat stumped by this, any idea?
