PleskBackupDownload-

Hello

So I have got a problem with downloading plesk backups. My backup has a size of 22GB, and when I click on download, it just hangs there forever. It even happens that PLESK crashes. It seems that during this process (of waiting for the download), plesk creates some temporary file to download? So ... I noticed that even I restart the server, there is some big space consumption since I tried to download that backup.

How Can I download the backup?

How Can I free the space, that Plesk uses when "preparing" the download of the backup?
Obviously there is somewhere some big file laying around.

found it myself
/usr/local/psa/tmp/ and in here is all the stuff
say, who is cleaning that directory? plesk itself? didnt work for me!

/usr/local/psa/tmp/ is too small

In your case, /usr/local/psa/tmp/ is too small. Do anyone knows a way to change the default directory where the temporary file is generated before download ?
thank you in advance.

I tried working on my large fs with a symbolic link, but got errors from Plesk :

ERROR: PleskFileException

Incorrect temporary file name generated.

0: FileUtils.php:46
FileUtils::getTemporaryFile(string '/usr/local/psa/tmp', string 'dump', string '.tgz')
1: backup.abstract-repository.item.download.php:49
__backup__abstract_repository__item__download->accessItem(string 'GET', NULL null)
2: UIPointer.php:595
UIPointer->access(string 'GET')
3: plesk.php:45

It looks like this is a made up limitation : need to reinstall my server to have more space mounted on my '/'
