• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

plesk installation screwed debian 3.1 system

Hello,

Last week I`ve installed a Plesk 8.1 Control Panel on my debian sarge 3.1 VPS and the installation gave some errors
Get:176 http://ftp.freenet.de stable/contrib tomcat4-webapps 4.1.31-3 [1988kB]
Err https://autoinstall.plesk.com sarge/all j2sdk1.4 1.4.2.01-1
Error reading from server Remote end closed connection
Later an incomplete installation of Plesk 8.1 was fullfilled and my system gone mad, apt got broken because of some dependencies, not even apt-get -f install or any other command could help me clean it.

Can you suggest me a way of uninstalling Plesk 8.1 from debian, or cleaning up my vps so I can install my own LAMP (linux apache php mysql)? Thank you
