• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • Our UX team believes in the in the power of direct feedback and would like to invite you to participate in interviews, tests, and surveys.
To stay in the loop and never miss an opportunity to share your thoughts, please subscribe to our UX research program. If you were previously part of the Plesk UX research program, please re-subscribe to continue receiving our invitations.

Issue Plesk Migration Fail to connect servers together

squaladesign

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
AlmaLinux 9.5 (Teal Serval)
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.68 Update #2
Hi, I have a VPS in OVH with Plesk Obsidian and a dedicated server with OVH again with the same version of Plesk. I'm trying to move everything from the VPS to the server with the Migration Tool but I have this error:

Failed to check SSH connection to the source server 'source' (X.X.X.X): Unable to connect to 'X.X.X.X' by SSH: Authentication failed..Ensure that the server is up and there are no firewall rules that may block SSH connections to the server, then restart migration.

I didn't add the SSH Key because I have the root password, also I checked the password and it's correct. Both VPS and server have disabled the Firewall.

What I have to do?

This error is typically caused due to incorrect root credentials. Are you able to establish an SSH connection from the destination server to the source server manually by using the same root password defined in the Migrator?

Thank you but I checked the credentials and yes there are correct. Yes I tried the SSH connection directly and she all good. Firewall disabled but not working :(
