I am migrating few domains from Plesk 6.0.1 to Plesk 7.5 Reloaded. Some domains have mailnames with "Redirect(no passwords)", when I move these domains I am seeing the following in the migration.log file,
1. Deploying of mailname [email protected]
2. Empty passwords are not allowed for sysuser. New password will be generated and sent by mail to the respective user.
3. Executing utility: '/usr/local/psa/bin/mail.sh' '--create' '[email protected]' '-passwd' '' '-redirect' 'true' '-rediraddr' [email protected]' '-multiple-sessions' 'false' '-cp_access' 'true'
4. The utility succesfully executed.
The mail name on the old server (6.0.1) has no password. But the Plesk is generating some random password for the mail account and sending it (not sure if the email is really sent).
Did anybody experience the same thing? Will Plesk really send emails to the users with new passwords? I don't want users to receive such emails because, the box I am migrating to..will be used as a development.
Thanks..
