using plesk 10.4.4 on windows 2008r2 server

When trying to move vhosts from c:\inetpub\vhosts to D:\vhosts i get error

Empty input path: (87) The parameter is incorrect.

at psaobsolete.VirtualHostsLocation.Change(String source, String dest)
at reconfigurator.ChangeLocation.SetRelocateState()

the destination path does exist so it's not a problem of creating the destination path.... seems it's confused about the input path.
