• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk scheduled backup delayed?

Hi all,

I have programmed a client account backup at 06:05, but without an apparent reason, the backup starts more than 6 hours later, at 12:30.

I checked the system time and it´s ok.

Anyone had this problem in the past? Thanks in advance, Simon.

I encountered similar problem. I tried to have a backup schduled at 0400 and then it backed up at about 1200. Then I tried to change the schedule to 2000, hoping that it will backing things up at 0400-0500. But it backed up things at about 1500.

I think this is quite annoying and it makes the server performance rather bad since it is backing up at peak hours.
