• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Plesk scheduler problems

I've got a binary wget.exe that I want to call using the Plesk scheduler. Except the problem is no matter where I put it and set its permissions to I get an accessed denied error.

If I log onto windows and change the task manually to remove --user="" parameter then I can run the executable fine.
The problem with this being I can't schedule tasks in the plesk control panel without logging in to fix them.

Is there something I am missing, I'm not sure how exactly I need to set its permissions and where I should put the executable for it to be able to run fine from any user account.

So I decided to forget about using wget and reverted to calling a .vbs file.

Except I am still getting permission errors in the event log:

Unable to start (/c ""c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe" "): (5) Access is denied. at RaiseException in C:\WINDOWS\system32\kernel32.dll

Not sure exactly what needs to be done, but I can't call any executables using the Plesk scheduler currently - all i get is accessed denied errors.
