  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hi All,

I have a problem with the update oof 1 server. He keeps on saying:

Starting installation of packages
Installing the package psa-qmail-1:1.03-cos5.build95100504.12.i586
error: Failed dependencies:
psa-selinux is needed by psa-qmail-1.03-cos5.build95100504.12.i586

Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

Best Regards,

Roy

Hi Igor,

I did a RPM --FORCE because a normal installl said the packeges were already installed.

But even when i install it he will keep on saying duing the update:

Starting installation of packages
Installing the package psa-qmail-1:1.03-cos5.build95100504.12.i586
error: Failed dependencies:
psa-selinux is needed by psa-qmail-1.03-cos5.build95100504.12.i586
ERROR: Unable to install the requested packages because either there is
not enough free disk space left, or there are package dependency problems.
Warning! Not all packages were installed.
Please check if your system services are operable.
Please, contact product technical support.

P.s. Diskspace is not a issue.

It is very difficult to resolve packages dependences without access to server... Therefore I suggest you contact support team if you can't resolve it by yourself.

SELINUX + Versions of Linux

It is best to enter SETUP at root and disable SELINUX. ** NOTE TO SELF** when you create a server not after you have been in production. Also make sure that you are running a firewall.

I have installed psa-updates from the command line (apt-get psa-updates) and it did the upgrade from 9.3 to 9.5.2

However now, I'm stuck with a license issue :-(
