Hi Guys,
So I've spent the last week tearing my hair out ( what little i have left ) over mail server issues.
I'm running a Hybrid Server provided by Heart Internet (unmanaged)... running the latest version of Plesk 11.5.30 on Centos 6
Since the last update (#27) for some reason I'm unable to send emails directly to hotmail or yahoo email addresses.
The strange this is ... I can receive incoming emails from them and if I reply to the email, the email is received.
If I try to send an email directly to a hotmail inbox, the email leaves the server according to the logs and command line views however it's never received in the recipients inbox. There is also no "bounce back" email.
With no bounce back email, I'm unable to track down the problem any further.
I tried doing a telnet connection and everything checks out fine.
For your info ... I've tried switching from postfix to qmail ... no success.
The server is currently running around 30 domains from a single IP address.
The IP address is NOT blacklisted anywhere at all. The problem affects ALL domains on the server.
Some example domains: http://www.djep.co http://www.flexagewebdesign.co.uk http://www.afcforum.co.uk http://www.hybridservers.co.uk http://www.magicportsmouth.co.uk
My server IP is : 91.109.15.152 which hosts all domains except for hybridservers.co.uk which is hosted on 91.109.15.153
The stranger thing is.. I have a VPS server provided by Heart also ( unmanaged ) running Plesk 11.0 and there are no problems with that server. I'm really at a lose.
Can anyone shed any light on this? If you need any more information please let me know and I'll be happy to provide it.
