plesk upgrade to 9.0 issue - repository fatal error in common_func.php3

Hello,

we upgraded Plesk from 8.6 to 9.0.

Initially, I was able to login Plesk 9.0 panel but an issue related to license key prevented me to use the panel fully. Shortly after I was no longer able to login Plesk Panel because of blank screen.

After turning on "error display on" in php.ini file, we noticed the following error message:

Fatal error: Repository is not opened in /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/common_func.php3 on line 4454

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? The sever is completely operational except plesk 9.0?
