  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk uses old SSL certificate

We've ran into this problem on a number of servers. Often when renewing or adding a new SSL cert, Plesk insists on using the old one even though all conf/include files say otherwise. We finally found a fix, which involves removing SSL completely from all domains and re-adding it. I didn't come across this in any SWSoft documentation or knowledge base (atleast with a few searches), so I wanted to share it just in case others were having a similar problem.

So if you assign the new cert by IP or domain yet when browsing to the domain it still says its expired, try running:

ls /var/www/vhosts/ | xargs -n 1 -iREP /usr/local/psa/bin/domain.sh -u REP -ssl false
ls /var/www/vhosts/ | xargs -n 1 -iREP /usr/local/psa/bin/domain.sh -u REP -ssl true -same_ssl true
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/websrvmng -a
