Plesk vs Smarter Mail SpamAssassin

I have two choices for SpamAssassin and am wondering which is better.

Smarter Mail SpamAssassin 5.1.3051 or Plesk SpamAssassin 3.2.3?

SpamAssassin in Windows can only handle up to 40K messages per day. At least that's what SM will say.

My question is which is better or rather what is the difference between the two. I am running Windows 2003.

I personally prefer the Linux version. It just works. I tested SA with SmarterMail and it worked but I started to notice service degradation over time.
